MAM Blueberry Farm is nestled in 80 beautiful acres in Delta, BC Canada. We are a proud family owned and successful operated business, established by the Bremner family in 1979. We are committed to ethical and sustainable farming, harvesting the best quality and delicious tasting blueberries you could ever try.
Since 2001 MAM Blueberry Farm has been the primary provider of the best quality blueberries to Bremner’s Foods Ltd., company devoted to producing the finest 100% pure blueberry juice — no water, no sugar and no preservatives, just premium fruit. Each bottle holds the equivalent of 2.5lbs of blueberries!
In 2016 a new family joined MAM Blueberry Farm, so we could continue to expand our skilled, specialized and extremely passionate growing team. We are committed to the family tradition of producing the best quality blueberries for many years to come, while respecting and ensuring the sustainability of the land and the natural environment.
After all blueberries are our passion, we love our farm!
Our Commitment to Quality and Safety
At MAM Blueberry Farm we strive to maintain the highest standards of production and quality control of our berries and our commitment to the safety of our workers and the environment while guaranteeing our customers’ satisfaction.
We undertake utmost control to ensure our berries do not have any level of contamination and we do this by adhering to a strict Integrated Pest Management program provided by qualified experts and advisers who help us identify appropriate pesticides to preserve our crops and protect them from pests and weeds. An Integrated Pest Management program emphasizes the growth of healthy crops with the least possible disruption to agro-ecosystems while encouraging natural pest control mechanisms, therefore it is a safer pest control that minimizes risks to human health and the environment. We are willing to try new technologies that enhance the quality of our berries while protecting the environment and our field workers.
We are proud of having met the CanadaGAP® Food Safety Program requirements, a certification that assures compliance to the CanadaGAP® standard for production of blueberries. CanadaGAP® is a food safety program for companies that produce, handle and broker fruits and vegetables. The program has received full Canadian Government Recognition and is designed to help implement and maintain effective food safety procedures within fresh produce operations.
Costco Addendum Certification
Because we are one of Costco suppliers, we are subject to additional audit requirements. The Costco addendum offers a more prescriptive evaluation process of areas that are included in the GLOBAL G.A.P. assessment.
Extensive areas of the MAM Blueberry fields have been certified and approved by the CFIA – Canadian Food Inspection Agency for exporting to the People’s Republic of China. This certification requires regular monitoring and compliance of the land and products to be suitable for human consumption and meet China’s strict importing regulations.
We are currently working to obtain the AgSafe Certificate of Recognition which is a BC provincial government sponsored program that recognizes and rewards employers for implementing effective Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies. This is a voluntary program but one that is important for us because it demonstrates our commitment to the health and safety of our workplace and our employees.
